The primary purpose of your home's gutter system is to direct the water shedding off of your roof away from the foundation and prevent erosion.
A 1,500 square foot roof will shed approximately 940 gallons of water in a 1" rainstorm. Assuming that the water flows freely out of an average of 4 downspouts and you have 235 gallons of water being directed away from the foundation of your home through each of the 4 of the downspouts.
Functional gutters should not leak, drip or over spill during a rainstorm. They should be flush against your fascia board without drooping and be free of debris.
Brian Dawson Roofing can help you asses the performance of your gutter system. We offer 5" and 6" seamless gutters in a variety of colors to accent your homes color scheme.
We also offer a variety of maintenance free options such as gutter guards and gutter helmets. Ask your Project Manager which one will work best for you!
